Screamify announces Ravenmocker, its new Micro Horror™.
NASHVILLE, TN — Screamify, the independent horror streaming platform, today announced Ravenmocker, the newest series in its proprietary Micro Horrors™ format — a 20-episode, vertically shot horror series to be produced by Nashville-based production company Soul Feather Studios. The project was developed by Screamify Originals and will be executive produced by Laryssa Goodlad for Screamify and Oh Gosh Yeah Entertainment, LLC.
Written by John White, Ravenmocker begins in 1971, when a carload of teenagers breaks down in rural Tennessee and the woods start watching back. As night falls, the teens are pulled into a haunting that reaches back more than a century — to a Civil War love story that ended in blood and never let go of the land. Each episode runs roughly two minutes, shot vertically for the phone in your hand, and every one of them ends on a cliffhanger.
Soul Feather Studios founder Gabe McCauley will direct. Development was supervised by executive producer Laryssa Goodlad and John Vann, consulting development producer for Screamify and host of Screamify's podcast The Fear Feed. Ravenmocker joins a Micro Horrors™ slate that includes Autonomous, Game Night: Survive the Slasher, and Scary Mary.

Gabe McCauley
Founder of Soul Feather Studios and an Emmy-winning writer, director, and on-camera host. McCauley has directed nine seasons of television, feature films, commercials, and music videos, and hosts and directs PBS's Reconnecting Roots. A West Virginia native and MTSU graduate with a background in theater and independent film, he brings a story-first, practical, rooted-in-place sensibility to genre television.
Joel McAfee
Emmy-winning producer and head of production at Soul Feather Studios. McAfee serves as series producer of Reconnecting Roots and was among the writers honored with the series' 2024 Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Writing Team. He holds a degree in TV & Film Production from Western Kentucky University and oversees Soul Feather's productions end to end — from budget to final delivery.

Laryssa Goodlad
Executive producer for Screamify, overseeing the Screamify Originals development slate. Goodlad executive produces Ravenmocker for Screamify and Oh Gosh Yeah Entertainment, LLC, supervised its development alongside John Vann, and has shepherded the project from first pitch through series order.
John Vann
Consulting development producer for Screamify and host of Screamify's podcast The Fear Feed. Vann supervised the development of Ravenmocker from outline through final script alongside executive producer Laryssa Goodlad.
